Burn Valley Community Update

We continue to receive reports of anti-social behaviour and criminality affecting the Elwick Road area, Burbank Street, and the surrounding ladder streets between Penrhyn Street and Burn Valley Road.

Issues reported include:

Officers are conducting ongoing enquiries and targeted patrols to tackle these issues, however information from residents remains vital in helping us identify offenders and take positive action.

I would encourage residents to continue reporting incidents through the appropriate channels so that matters can be recorded, investigated, and actioned where opportunities exist. Even incidents that may seem minor can help build intelligence and identify patterns of offending.

📞 101 for non-emergency incidents, anti-social behaviour, vehicle crime, suspicious activity, and information relating to drugs.

💻 Online via the Cleveland Police website.

🚨 999 if a crime is in progress, there is an immediate threat to safety, or offenders are currently on scene.

When reporting, please provide as much information as possible, including descriptions of those involved, vehicle details and registration numbers, locations, times, dates, and any available CCTV or doorbell footage.
